If you are using a 1990's laptop for your retro PC MSDOS requirements then chances are you have no built in sound. The OPL3LPT solves that by providing Adlib support via a parallel port. This also means it can be used on a desktop PC that doesn't have a sound card and can also be easily swapped between machines unlike an internal card. So I ordered one up to put through it's paces on the ChinnyVision Dell 486 so that our PC reviews might finally have more audio than the PC beeper.
This is the Ebay store I purchased my card from. I have no link with the seller and provide this for information only - [ Ссылка ]
