Ompok rhadinurus is a silurid catfish that has slender tail. It is originated from Borneo and Sumatra, Indonesia. It has black patch on the caudal peduncle and grey body.

Habitat: Living in slow moving river stream, swamps and lakes. It loves to hide behind rocky formation on the bottom of the river.

Characteristic: The Ompok rhadinurus is a catfish who loves to shoal together. It is recommended to keep them minimum at group of 6-8 individuals. Planted tank is not recommended but hard scape tank will do fine. It will need spacious swimming area. Therefore, large tank is suggested.

Diet: frozen bloodworm and shrimps.
