This is a quick comparison of a BOSS DS-1 Distortion and the BOSS OS-2 Overdrive Distortion. The OS-2 is in it's distortion setting, the COLOR control being set to fully clockwise.
The rhythm and lead guitar tracks are re-amped through each pedal, then mixed with bass and drums to create the video soundtrack.
The amp is a Marshall 1987x. I'm plugged into the bright channel with the other channel connected with a patch cable. The cabinet is a closed back 2 x 12 with G12M Greenbacks Celestion impulse response.
The guitar is a USA Fender Stratocaster (1960s re-issue).
