Thankfulness, adoration, worship, and glorifying God for His mighty acts were greatly on display this day in history! Imagine the feelings of awe and wonder the children of Israel were having during this great deliverance and redemption, yet not to long after many of them turned aside to worship a false image of God that they preferred, rather that go on to learn the ways of the One True God and love him. Truly, these things were written for our sakes.
