Like, I seriously can't believe 100 people actually want to see my crappy art pFFFF
But uh, all this art is old and it's rushed just like the editing and I'm sorry about that but uh....... Okay I have no excuse err

But ANYWAYS, here's how the AU goes:
In this AU, Brambleclaw is less of such a good character, though he isn't evil. Everything plays out (almost) the same - he and Squirrelflight/paw go on the journey and blah blah blah, they just don't develop feelings for each other. When they get back home, Brambleclaw realises Ashfur - whom he doesn't like because [insert your own reason here :3] - likes Squirrelflight a lot. So, Brambleclaw starts to pretend to like Squirrelflight, who falls for his act and loves him head over heels. Ashfur gets very mad and jealous over this, and blinded by his rage he plots on killing Firestar to hurt Squirrelflight for being so stupid (because yeah, hurt her instead of Brambleclaw) together with Hawkfrost. Brambleclaw takes the chance to prove his loyalty as deputy by killing Hawkfrost, knowing that it'd seem suspicious if Firestar would die so short after Brambleclaw became deputy. Ashfur is at first very mad, but then realises what he's done and deeply regrets it. He feels very ashamed of what he's done and decides to just stay away from Squirrelflight, but still make up for what he did by protecting her (from distance). Though, he's angered again when Brambleclaw starts teasing him about Ashfur not being good enough for Squirrelflight and telling him about how they loved each other. Ashfur gets very upset, but he still doesn't want to do anything because of what he did to Firestar. Then, Squirrelflight suddenly have kits that she brought back after her journey with Leafpool. Ashfur is upset and hurt, but he still doesn't want to interfere. The kits grow up knowing about their real parents, but they keep the secret. When the storm starts up, brambleclaw has found out the truth and is outraged. He traps them in the fire, threatening to kill Squirrelflight and the kits for not telling him. He even tells them the whole story about how he "fell in love with her" and confesses that he's never and never will love any of them. Ashfur seeks the forest for Squirrelflight, still holding his promise to himself about protecting her, and finally finds her. He leaps onto Brambleclaw and holds him down to let Squirreflight and the three out. He's distracted by Squirrelflight, thanking him, and his grip loosens around Brambleclaw who takes the chance and kills Ashfur. He dies and gos to Star'clan, forgiven for his mistake of nearly killing Firestar since he regrets it. What happens next? Well that's up to you, I'm out.
