BJP-led National Democratic Alliance's (NDA) tally has risen to 303. This comes after small parties and independent candidates who won, joined the coalition. After counting of votes concluded and elections results were declared, the BJP had emerged as the largest single party with 240 Lok Sabha seats, just falling 32 seats short of the majority mark. With NDA partners- TDP and JDU's 28 seats, and support from other allies in the coalition, the NDA had surpassed the required majority of 272, making the tally 292.After the new support from small parties and independent candidates, BJP-led NDA now stands '300 paar'. Notably, NDA's Prime Ministerial pick, Narendra Modi's oath taking ceremony is likely to take place on June 9.
