Electricity affordability has been identified as a major challenge for consumers as they battle to cope with high costs due to tariff increases.
The issue of access to electricity comes as Eskom recently marked 100 days of no loadshedding.
Electricity and Energy Minister Dr Kgosientsho Ramokgopa says if the issue of electricity affordability is not dealt with the country could face a crisis by 2050 where we could see Eskom owed over R3 trillion.
