(8 Jan 2014) If the thought of singing Karaoke strikes fear into your soul, the people at Singtrix have a treat for you.
Singtrix is a vocal processing unit that allows you to sing with a number of effects, including voices.
"It's got over 350 different sounds so you can sound like a robot," says founder Erik Berkowitz.
"You can sound like Barry White."
Queen fans should especially take fancy with the unit.
"You can actually sing "Bohemian Rhapsody' by yourself if you're not a great singer," says Berkowitz.
The unit also enables users to sing through lots of effects that mimic what a woman's voice sounds like, and vice-versa.
Singtrix is sold as a complete package, including the signal processing unit, a microphone stand, speaker as well as mounting hardware for your smartphone or tablet.
It retails for 299 US dollars.
Singtrix is on being shown off at the Consumer Electronic Show in Las Vegas.
The International Consumer Electronics Show runs 7 - 10 January 2014.
