In this horror movie recap, we're going through a full movie summary of the 2019 witches tale The Wretched. A young man visits his dad in a small, coastal town. When his neighbors start acting weird, he finds himself compelled to watch them, and slowly comes to the realization that the ladies in the area are being overtaken, one by one, with a family annihilating witch who wears their skin like clothing, hangs out naked, manipulates the men with her witchy whispers, and ultimately eats the children. A classic tale. Not only does Ben have to convince everyone of what's happening, despite being deemed somewhat untrustworthy due to his penchant for breaking into houses to steal opiates, but he also finds himself getting hammered with the realization that he also has a younger brother he forgot about due to the witch's influence. Really, there's a lot to take in here, and it's put together pretty well by the filmmakers.
