This Indian-Australian man, 43-year-old Balesh Dhankar has been found guilty of raping 5 Korean women. He had pleaded not guilty to 39 charges. The court has been found him guilty on each of them. Between Jan-Oct 2018 Dhankar allegedly

- lured women with fake jobs
- spiked their drinks
- committed sexual acts
- and made intimate recordings

He is the former chief of Overseas Friends of BJP before he resigned in July 2018. He was taken into custody and will face court again in May when he will be sentenced.
