This was my first outing with my brand new Ruger PC Carbine. I fired a few magazines through it without the suppressor first to make sure the projectiles were stabalized. Honestly, I was expecting it to be a bit more quiet with the 147 grain ammo. The first round was quiet with no crack from breaking the sound barrier but the subsequent rounds had a crack. It was still hearing safe though; I had no discomfort without hearing protection.

I really liked the rifle itself. I experienced no malfunctions with or without the suppressor, about 75 rounds total. I'll probably put a red dot sight on it and I'm looking forward to putting a lot more rounds through it.
