Hunting public land in the Black Hills of South Dakota can be tough and it gets a lot harder when it won't stop snowing! Even though blizzards, we were able to harvest three toms in the last two days of the Burris ambassador hunt...all tagged out in South Dakota!
Jordan from Strut Commander kicked us off by calling this turkey in from 525 plus yards and shooting it at steps! Devin Singleton filled his tag next by calling in a nice Tom on the last day of our hunt. We immediately went right back to that honey hole and called in the third gobbler for Loren Schrag from Goodbull Outdoors to fill our final tag of the trip. All five birds on this trip were shot on public land in the Black Hills and all five were shot within 20 yards. That is what it's all about!
In all, we had a great time at the 2021 Burris ambassador turkey hunt up in the Black Hills of South Dakota and I think I speak for all of us when I say we are already looking forward to next year!
