Saturday, 08/28/2021, from 4:14 PM (16:14), to 5:42 PM (17:42), this is some MTA New York City Subway train action on the IND 63rd Street Line at the Roosevelt Island Station in Manhattan, featuring the R160 fleet on the (F) and rerouted (E) lines. On this day, due to weekend construction, (E) trains ran over the (F) line in both directions via 63rd Street and via 6th Avenue after the Jackson Heights-Roosevelt Avenue Station in Queens to operate to and from the Lower East Side-2nd Avenue Station in Manhattan; northbound (E) and (F) trains on 6th Avenue skipped the 14th Street and 23rd Street Stations in Manhattan due to a different weekend construction setting. Also on this day, there were service changes on the IND 8th Avenue Line impacting (A) and (C) train service, but either way, alternate service for (E) trains was provided by (6), (7), (A), (C), (D), and (R) trains. This rerouted (E) train service pattern sort of resembles how the former (V) train’s service pattern ran (defunct as of June of 2010), just running via 63rd Street between Queens and Manhattan, instead of running via 53rd Street (weekend construction on this day closed that section).
