Commercial sex workers in Kisumu and Busia yesterday protested acts of violence meted on them during the conduct of their business.
They said cases of rape committed against them were now common in the town with about 15 assault cases being handled by the police from the region.
They said some instances have resulted into their members being hospitalized for many months therefore rendering them unproductive.
