Our new DSCVR artist has a memorable motto: "fuck the rules." Singer/rapper Tyla Yaweh likes to chart his own course. Watch him onstage. He flies into the fans and crowdsurfs like a punk rocker. Check his heroes: Jim Morrison and James Brown aren't key inspirations for most hip-hop dudes these days. From homeless nights on LA streets to opening slots for Post Malone, Yaweh's rollin' fast. "She Bad" and "Salute" has leveled up in the last few months. "High Right Now" and "They Ain't You" are being pummeled on Spotify, and Tyla's havin' his story told in lots of places. We got him to do two blistering versions of those latter tracks for DSCVR. Spread 'em around, will ya?
