Things are moving along at a good pace now after some days of delays due to rain. The Site preparation is pretty much done at this point in time. The Slab is whats called a Waffle Pod slab. It uses Styrofoam Blocks to make rectangular shapes under the slab. Hence the name Waffle, because if looks like that from the bottom.
Next week we are expecting the concrete to be poured, and that is fantastic, I am looking forward to that. Getting the slab done is a massive milestone, as beyond that point the building is built upwards and the end product starts to take shape.
