Hundreds of people in a Hong Kong shopping centre burst into protest song earlier this week as the region passed 100 days of protests.
The singers sang Glory to Hong Kong and were accompanied by a group of musicians who played their instruments in helmets and face masks on Wednesday evening.
The lyrics of the song: “Arise, ye who would not be slaves again” and “democracy and liberty.” A rendition of the newly composed song has been viewed on YouTube 2.1 million times.
Protesters in Hong Kong have vowed to continue their demonstrations until all of their five demands are met, saying that the withdrawal of the unpopular extradition bill was not enough.
