This set of tunes—recorded for the matinee presentation An Afternoon in Ingonish—was composed by Cape Breton piano-player Adam Young as part of a year-long project in 2018 to write a tune every day. That commitment led to the recording—and release in 2021—of Yearbook, a double album and a 160-page book of tunes, which has been nominated for a 2022 Canadian Folk Music Award in the Instrumental Solo category. Adam was joined by a top-notch collection of players for this concert, some of whom played on the album. This recording perfectly captures the excitement felt in the room during this concert.
