How to make a tree stump side table - from tree slab. In this video we will be building a Live edge coffee table from a tree slab or slice, and how to flatten the live edge slab using a diy router flattening jig. The process is simple and does a good job of flattening a large slab like this Oak "cookie" slab or slice.
One side of the table top has bow ties and the other side has a Hertford College Crest hand carved using a router. The live edge coffee table top is finished with epoxy resin and stands on hairpin legs. The live edge table was for a customer who has connections with the college.
