Midterm elections are the elections for congress and local offices. Congress is the branch of government that makes the laws, which is why it is just as important to show up to the polls on midterm years as it is during presidential election years.

In 2022, 35 seats in the U.S. Senate and all 435 House seats are up for election. Remember: Whoever controls the House or Senate controls the agenda. Let’s vote, Huskies!
