Through the First Person program, Holocaust survivors have the opportunity to share their remarkable personal stories of hope, tragedy, and survival with thousands of visitors at the Museum. This program was presented on May 16, 2019. It features Rachel Goldfarb, who was born in Dokszyce, Poland, in 1930. From 1939 through 1941, she lived under Soviet occupation. Following the German invasion of the Soviet Union, she lived under the Nazis. Rachel and her mother survived the liquidation of the Dokszyce ghetto in hiding and joined a group of partisans.
