Stroke is the third leading cause of death in the United States. And while age is a risk factor, strokes also affect a number of younger adults. A group of stroke survivors at The Nebraska Medical Center formed "Hope After Stroke," a support group for people still leading active and productive lives after having a stroke.
This video describes the risk factors and symptoms of stroke, as well as the importance of having a support system for people who've suffered a stroke.
