Hello my friends, it's me again zee BattlefieldDoktor with another vlog about some old Hot Wheels & Matchbox model cars. Will just show you these classics - I played with them as a child (well, these ones I had to purchase again as second hand because unfortunately I've no model left from my childhood).
Dixie Challenger (Hot Wheels)
This particular model was released in 1981 - so of the first badge that was still made in Hong Kong as you can also read at [ Ссылка ] - I had the same one in my childhood with the rebel flag on the roof. The Dixie Challenger was a modification of the Rodger Dodger from 1974 which had an exposed engine. And the Rodger Dodger was based on the Bye-Focal from 1971 (so developed in 1970 and that's why there stands 1970 on the underbody of the Dixie Challenger as well). There were of course some re-production of all of them.
Ford Thunderbird 1957 (Matchbox)
This particular model was released in 1982 in red and later in 1983 in cream - still made by Lesney England. In 1986 followed the black one made in China. See also [ Ссылка ] for more information about this particular model. My brother and I got the red and cream one back when we were children. I re-purchased the red one which is in a mint condition. Found the black one very cheap so I couldn't resist. In last year you could also find a '57 Thunderbird in the MBX Blue Highways II Pack
Fan intro made 2008 by spheremaster - couldn't find his account anymore.
