Impressive shooter from Irem that's sure to tax your trigger finger.
The basic premise is to navigate through multiple levels, blowing up rocks and scenery to reveal crystals which can be collected for cash. This can be used to redeem power-ups and weapons by flying your chopper over bonus boards, many of which are also hidden behind pieces of the scenery. You'll certainly need the gear because, as expected for a coin-op, the game gets incredibly difficult in the later levels.
Other cool features include the cave sections where the level starts in complete darkness until you blow out the correct wall to let light in, and the mole-machine robots that tunnel their way through walls to get to you present an unexpected challenge. Also, this is probably the only coin-op I've come across that uses the sound of clinking bottles when a coin is inserted!
I'm not certain, but I have a feeling this game could have been an inspiration for Blood Money on the Amiga; the scrolling levels, main chopper sprite and cash-for-upgrades systems all seem pretty familiar...
