Al Pompilli : vocal
Al POMPILLI. Cousin of Rudy Pompilli (though Haley also referred to him as Rudy's younger brother), Al played bass for Haley during 1958 and 1959 and appeared in the film "Hier Bin Ich, Hier Bleib Ich" Pompilli also sang with the band, the only examples of this, the excellent "For You My Love" and "Giddy Up Ding Dong," appear on the CD Vive la Rock n' Roll on Big Beat Records.
Replaced in September 1959 by Al Rappa.
Passed away in1974.
Like his cousin, the original spelling of his last name was Pompilii.
