The Fairey Fulmar was a two-seat fighter aircraft designed for and used by the Fleet Air Arm of the Royal Navy, in an attempt to replace the earlier carrier fighters in service.
Join me in this video as I take a look inside the box of the Mistercraft Fairey Fulmar Mk.I/II plastic model kit in 1/72 scale and find out what it's like and what you get included!
The code of this particular kit is D-217 and was originally released by Mistercraft in 2015. It has been available as part of the AZ Model range since 2017 however.
Originally though, this kit was introduced in 1994 as a new tooling by Vista but found its way into the Revell range in 1995. In 2005 it was released as part of the Airfix range for a short period, eventually finding its way into the hands of Směr, which was the version prior to the Mistercraft edition.
