Speaking of “Kahan Ho Tum,” Prateek Kuhad shared, “I remember when Akarsh came to me with the script for Mismatched. After a long phone call about the characters and the story arc, I immediately had the “Kahaan Ho Tum” line in my head. I built on the song from there. A very simple and literal idea for a song that portrays the character of Rishi, who is determined to find and fall in love with his one true (or at least he thinks) soul mate Dimple.

Rohit Saraf, who has been a fan of Prateek Kuhad, was delighted to know that the singer-songwriter will be performing his track. “Kahaan Ho Tum is the kind of song that gives me butterflies in my stomach every time I listen to it. The song was written from Rishi’s perspective and is about his search for true love. I’ve been a fan of Prateek’s music since he first appeared, so I was really excited to know he would sing my track! The shooting of this song was beautiful because I felt every line so deeply. I’ve always wanted to be a part of something that’s composed by Prateek Kuhad, and this will be my song for life, ”Saraf said.

Mismatched brings to you the story of Rishi, who is searching for his happily ever after and Dimple, who dreams of being a tech-wizard. While they hit it off on a wrong note, the two develop a friendship over a period of time. Lost together in their own journeys, this perfectly imperfect mismatched couple must build an amazing app while navigating an oddball bunch of friends, nasty bullies, a snooty professor and above all, each other.
