The musical selections of Kallos’s first program share hope and comfort after what has been a difficult 18-months of isolation, loss, pain, and darkness. Each piece, conceived in a space of immense struggle and hardship, takes us on a revelatory journey through sound, structure, and harmony, conveying the composer’s utmost intimate voyage to joy, beauty, and triumph. Making their Kallos debut, the award-winning Ulysses String Quartet will join Kallos Artistic Director and pianist Min Young Kang.
