Algeria has pledged to allocate one billion dollars to help African nations launch development projects through the Algerian Agency of International Cooperation for Solidarity and Development (AICSD). The announcement was made by Algerian Prime Minister Aimene Benabderrahmane on behalf of President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, in his speech at the annual African Union summit of leaders in the Ethiopian capital, Addis Ababa.
