As a gear and tone nerd, I'm going to start posting the specific way I have things dialed since it's something that I always wanna know from other people - so hopefully this is helpful to someone if they were inspired by my setup! Any other questions I will try to answer if I see it in time.

RHYTHM guitar for this is pretty straight forward - it's simple G chord shapes, but aside from that, adjusting to the song's dynamics is paramount. I had the boost side of my king of tone always on and relied on strumming harder during the big choruses. I used a light room reverb and 1/8 note delay the whole time so that the picking attack wouldn't get washed out.

LEAD guitar is mostly comprised of slide, I tried to show as many different parts to hopefully provide some inspiration since so many parts work well - so ultimately if you're trying to figure out what to play, there's a lot that you can pick from hopefully and find what suits either you or your church best.
Pretty much just used a very typical medium sized reverb and delay here, but I also decided to throw in a 1/16 note delay in front as well - both were always on. The 16th note delay really sounds cool; it's sort of a mix between a slap back delay but also kind of sounds reverb-esque in a weird way. As soon as the chorus starts I'm using the KoT OD and for the big slide parts I'm stacking a tumnus with no gain but with a HUGE boost to the mids. I stack a 3rd od for the biggest vamp too (low gain superbolt), but use your ears since 3 drives is atypical.

Gear and specific settings:
GUITAR - Fender Strat U.S. made (fat 50 pickups)
AMP - Kemper profilerPROFILE - 58 deluxe gold (M. Britt) (1.5db pre amp boost to mid and bass)
COMPRESSOR - Deep six Walrus Audio (attack at 3 o'clock, sustain at 9-12, blend will vary between 10-3 o'clock)
OVERDRIVES - tumnus, superbolt, morning glory, King of Tone
REVERB - Kemper (Natural reverb) (mix between 50-60%, decay 5-8s)
DELAY - Kemper (I always put my delays in front of the amp - this unfortunately means they're mono but makes a huge difference in the delay's attack and liveliness. With stereo reverb and mono delay, the signal still retains its width imo)


Garageband - I sometimes do minor eq tweaks in post and tend to add a high shelf boost for lead parts
