Is the low fat vegan diet too high in fat? 80 percent carbs, 10% protein and 10% fat are what people aim for. Is getting 10% of your calories from fat too much for some people? That means you have to eat overt fats every day. If you've ever struggled on a high fruit high carb diet, it could be because of that 1/2 an avocado you had everyday.
