On "My Car Story" we're at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance in Pebble Beach CA on 8-21-22.
We're looking at a 1962 Ferrari 250 GTO Scaglietti Berlinetta # 4153 GT in Silver Metallic Paint and a French Tricolor stripe of Blue, White and Red. The car comes with the factory Tipo 168/62 Comp V-12 engine, and a manual transmission.
The car's Owner is David MacNeil. This car in 1964 was the overall victory Winner at the Tour de France driven by Lucien Bianchi & Georges Berger. This car is the 24th of 36 GTO’s produced. I do not have hard evidence, however when researching on the internet from “DuPont Registry” & “The Drive” & “CNN Style” this car was sold and purchased in 2018 in a private sale for $70-80 million dollars.
