US President Joe Biden pledged the support of NATO to Ukraine against Russia's Putin's "war of aggression". Biden said the US, Germany, Netherlands, Romania, and Italy will provide Ukraine with five additional strategic air defence systems. The US, Germany, and Romania will each provide a Patriot battery of their own, while the Netherlands will work with other countries to enable an additional Patriot battery. Meanwhile, Italy would also provide a SAMP-T long-range air defence system. Norway will donate six F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine, reports said, citing the Norwegian PM at the NATO summit in Washington. British PM Keir Starmer indicated that Ukraine can use long-range missiles supplied by UK to strike military targets in Russia during their war. "Putin wants nothing less -- nothing less than Ukraine's total subjugation," Biden said in his welcome address. Biden's speech at NATO came a day after Russia conducted strikes across Ukraine, including a strike on children's hospital in Kyiv.
