Growing spinach this cool season? Try this harvesting method!
Instead of picking each leaf individually, you can treat the plant like many herbs or other greens by harvesting by way of the cut-and-come-again method.
Just wrap up the entire plant and give it a haircut! Spinach LOVES to be trimmed and will grow back.
Unless you're planning to eat it right away, be sure to store your harvest properly. I like to immediately get it cooled off in a cooler bag with freezer packs.
When you are ready to eat, give it a quick rinse and enjoy!
