Welcome to the Trick Shift Garage! In this video, we'll show you how to replace the brake light bulb on a 2007 to 2012 Nissan Altima! It uses a 3157 bulb and the only tools that you will need is a flat head screw driver and an 8 mm wrench or socket. In a nutshell, you just have to remove the trunk liner out of the way to access the 2 - 8 mm nuts holding the brake light assembly in place. Once those two are off, CAREFULLY pull the tail light assembly out, there will be 3 push-pins that you will have to coax out of their homes. Then, when the assembly is separated, just pull out the brake light bulb and pop in the new one. Putting it all back together is just the reverse of removal. If you have any questions feel free to leave a comment below, and as always, thanks for watching!
