A San Francisco-based photographer captured stunning timelapse footage of a full moon rising behind the city’s iconic Coit Tower and Oakland Bay Bridge on September 20.

This footage was taken by Shreenivasan Manievannan, an “astrophotographer” who frequently posts stunning images of landscapes, sunsets, and moonrises to his Instagram and Twitter pages.

“It was perfect clear skies, which we rarely get in San Francisco during the summer,” he wrote in the video’s caption.
