Deuteronomy 18:12 For all that do these things are an abomination unto the LORD: and because of these abominations the LORD thy God doth drive them out from before thee.
Luke 16:15 And he said unto them, Ye are they which justify yourselves before men; but God knows your hearts: for that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God.

Playing Possum Is An Abomination
It's not the possum that is an abomination unto God, for the possum is doing what God created him to do.
It is the man (human) which acts like a possum or playing as if he is something in fact which he is not, in this case a Christian, that is an abomination unto God.

Jesus said no servant can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other; or else he will hold to the one and despise the other. Seeking that which is an abomination to God will cause you to be driven out from Him. Being a possum will not be enough, Luke 16:15 say’s “God knows your heart”. You cannot play like a Christian but live a secret life of a heathen.
