Comparing the Mitelli, Tarot Neoclassico, and Vacchetta tarot decks, which all share a common thread, they're Italian decks.
Although the Mitelli appears concurrently with the Noblet (mid 1600s), it is distinctly Italian.
Tarot Neoclassico of 1810 seems to be trying to appeal to a broader European audience, and the Vacchetta of 1893 seems to acknowledge occultist influences or is at least aware of them.
At any rate, I thought these three very beautiful Italian decks would make for an interesting comparison.
Nobody did tarot like the Italians.
