Written by Jerry Fuller. Arranged by Laurie Holloway and produced by Gordon Mills
From the 1974 album, “My Love”.
Leading off with Paul McCartney’s song, Engelbert turned in his 12th album for Parrot Records (UK: Decca) but it was his first not to chart after 11 straight entries on the US album chart.
“Show And Tell” was also recorded by Johnny Mathis but the hit version was by Al Wilson, who took the song to the top of the Hot-100 in January 1974.
Engelbert’s chart fortunes returned in the US when he signed with Epic Records in 1976 and reached the Top-10 with a song arranged by Charlie Calello and co-written by Ritchie Adams, “After The Lovin’”.
