Giant TCR Advanced SL 0 Disc Bike Overview
Although many bike brands have changed their designs as years go by, the Giant TCR has not; and this is a staple of its brand right from its formation in the 1990s, when it disrupted the status quo. Since the company’s formation, the bike has gone through many changes that include updating its bottom bracket and tubing shapes, but it still retains its compact frame in all its models, including the TCR Advanced SL 0 Disc that is the ninth form of the original compact race bike.
The frame features an aerodynamic improvement even without changing the general shape. Its front end comes with flat back tubing profiles, including the forks and head tube. Similar to other aerodynamic bikes, it also features dropped seat stays, although the sloping top tube hides their presence. It is clear that the company wanted the bike to feature the classic shape of the TCR bike while enhancing other attributes and the bike is lightweight enough to be comfortable for daily use thanks to its 6.6kg weight.
