How do electric vehicles handle in cold weather? The video discusses electric vehicle batteries in cold temperatures and how that can affect charging and other components of EVs. I take a drive away from the Phoenix desert into cooler temperatures and look at regenerative braking, preconditioning, ICE vs EVs, electric motors and battery stress. In the video a Tesla Model 3 Dual Motor is used as an example but much of the information is still relevant to other electric vehicles. I have linked some further reading below to learn more about electric vehicles and cold temperatures.
