Public transport is one of the easiest and most affordable ways to navigate the sprawling and busy city of Istanbul. There are hundreds of metros, buses, trams, ferries, and more recently, a tram that runs under the Bosphorus to easily connect to European side of Istanbul to the Asian side. Costing only a few lira, it is an excellent way to explore Istanbul.
