The F-type is designed to be easy to change the oil from the top, given it has a oil extraction tube under the oil cap and the oil filter is on top as well. I purchased a oil extractor and would like to use it for oil changes, but only if it outperforms (or is similar) the drain plug method. I will start with the extractor removing as much oil as possible, reposition the tube, remove the filter, wait a while, and try again to remove oil with the extractor. Using this method I was able to remove 5.5L of oil. However, when the drainplug was removed, another 2L of oil was drained. I checked to ensure the extractor was working by sucking up another 1L of oil from the used oil container and there was no issue. Unfortunately the extractor is not as effective as the drain plug, but I will try again with my next oil change.
