By donating the the Psychophysiologic Disorders Association (PPDA), you will help us bring evidence-based care to millions of misdiagnosed and poorly treated patients. Our mission at the PPDA is to advance the diagnosis and treatment of physical symptoms linked to stress and mental trauma. But in order to do this, we need people like you who are willing to join forces with us in relieving the epidemic of chronic pain and other body symptoms.
We care about helping patients relieve their chronic pain, fibromyalgia, migraines, irritable bowel syndrome and other chronic conditions caused by stress because we have been there as patients, or as healthcare clinicians and we know how awful it is to suffer with chronic symptoms that don't go away no matter what you do or how you treat it.
But thanks to years of clinical experience and research in pain and neuroscience, we now know these symptoms can be relieved and even CURED! But it all begins with awareness among professionals and the public, followed by the correct diagnosis.
With your generous donation, we can continue to educate health professionals on how to diagnose and treat PPD and raise public awareness about the safest, most affordable and most effective treatment for their symptoms.
This work is so valuable because it is estimated that 1/6th of all adults have PPD, and chronic pain costs over $630 Billion dollars annually in the U.S. This is more than the cost of diabetes, cancer and heart disease COMBINED!
So here's to more science and less pain! Please join us in our vital work toward ending the chronic pain epidemic and opioid crisis!
