Hey friends! Today I’m sharing the world’s best sugar cookie recipe. I may be a bit biased since these are from my grandma and are the ones I grew up on; but nevertheless, I’ve never heard anything other than positive feedback on these cookies.

These cookies are soft and tender with the perfect balance of sweetness and tanginess from the cream cheese. I hope you like these as much as I do.

RECIPE:
2 cups salted butter
8 oz cream cheese (block, not tub)
2 cups granulated sugar
2 egg yolks
1 tsp vanilla extract
4¼ cup AP flour

DIRECTIONS
Briefly mix room temp butter and cream cheese.
Then, cream together with sugar until light and fluffy.
Add the egg and vanilla and mix to combine.
Gradually add flour until batter is stiff.
Chill at least 1 hour;
Roll to 1/4 to 3/8 thickness and cut out.
Bake 10-12 minutes at 350°F
