In Myanmar, reports say the army has killed and then burned the bodies of more than 30 people, including women and children.

The burnt bodies of the refugees sheltering from an army offensive, were found in the conflict-torn Kayah state on Friday. This comes after the military carried out several airstrikes that forced hundreds to flee into neighboring Thailand. The junta says it had shot and killed what it calls terrorists. Fighting has intensified since last February after the military seized power.
