NOTE: This lovely evergreen is played by one of the best dance orchestras in the turn of decades 1920/30s in the United States. In that relatively short period, Bert Lown’s band made a large number of recordings for Victor and other labels, all of which are highly valued by the conoisseurs of the pop-music of that era. In 1930 however, Bert Lown suddenly gave up the music business, becoming the booking agent and manager. In later years he held executive positions in television, before he died of a heart attack in 1962. As a musician, Bert Lown was not only the perfect dance bandleader and a fine violinist, he was also a composer of such evergreen hits of the Jazz Age, as “Bye, Bye Blues”, "You're The One I Care For” or “Tired”.
