The M3P machine gun is optimized for remote firing from aircraft, ground vehicles and naval craft providing offensive and defensive firepower ranging out to nearly 1,850 meters at a rate of 1,100 rounds per minute.
The M3M (GAU-21) machine gun is suitable for rotary-wing aircraft applications providing offensive and defensive firepower ranging out to nearly 2,000 meters at a rate of 1,100 rounds per minute.
