Two different edit/mix versions of “Indiana Wants Me” were released on commercial 45 single at the time (for the slower/longer edit, listen here [ Ссылка ] ).
This post is the version that we heard on the radio in 1970. It is more than a half-minute shorter, runs at a brighter speed & pitch (A-flat), fades out at an earlier point, and does not include the police siren open.
Unreleased as a single at the time was the original LP version which included the introductory siren as well as 15 seconds of overdubbed gunfire SFX toward the end: [ Ссылка ]
