Welcome to Laganas Beach, where we will see the hatching of sea turtles and the professional team that rescues them. A big thank you goes to these volunteers who helped save thousands of turtles. Their name is ARCHELON - a Greek company focused on the protection of sea turtles and their habitats. How can we help sea turtles? Keep beaches clean of plastic and other types of trash, and don't throw trash into the sea. There are six beaches in Laganas Bay, totaling 5.5 km long, Marathonissi, East Laganas, Kalamaki, Sekania, Dafni and Gerakas, which host an average of 1,200 nests per year. Protect these nests and turtle beaches.
